Tulsa is a fawn-colored, female Thai Ridgeback with no ridge — but what she lacks in a ridge, she more than makes up for in heart, intelligence, and presence.
She is a high-energy, primitive breed dog who has been carefully raised and socialized here at Topking TRD. Tulsa is incredibly sweet, highly curious, and thrives on affection. She is extremely food motivated and builds deep connections with those who earn her trust.
Like all true Thai Ridgebacks, Tulsa is independent by nature. She doesn’t seek to please for the sake of approval — she works with people based on mutual respect and trust. She is not a dog who responds to dominance or fear-based training methods, and she will do best in a home that understands the subtle balance of leading with clarity while honoring her natural instincts.
Because of her current developmental stage and temperament, I will not place her in a home with an already established female dog, and she cannot be placed in a home with cats.
Why is she still here?
Because I won’t place her just anywhere. Tulsa is unique and deserves a home that understands primitive breeds and can give her the environment she needs to thrive. That kind of placement takes time — and I’m okay with that.

Meet Shaka, a 7.5-year-old spayed female Thai Ridgeback (81 lbs) who is looking for a new home due to her owner’s recent medical diagnosis and transition into assisted living.
🔹 Health: Up to date on vaccinations. She has hypothyroidism and a knee issue that will require ongoing care.
🔹 Temperament: Good with familiar dogs and does well passing dogs on walks. Not suited for dog parks, as she can be reactive with unknown dogs that approach her.
🔹 Children: Limited exposure; likely better with older children who understand dog boundaries.
🔹 Other: Shaka is a loyal, loving dog who needs a patient, experienced owner to give her the stable home she deserves for the remainder of her life.

What Aria's family would like you to know...
Aria is an absolute sweetheart, extremely loving and just as smart. She enjoys walks during the day and has a natural intuition to please. During the warmer months she enjoys sun bathing during for hours at a time. At 55 pounds she enjoys curling up in your lap and when it's times for bed if you put a blanket over her and tuck her in she will adjust herself to make sure she is properly tucked in.
When you arrive home Aria will always greet you with excitement and start talking to you once you walk through the door. She grooms her self constantly and acts like the perfect little lady. If you give her a slice of bread she will eat it piece by piece chewing like she is human and will take a few minutes to finish. If you are looking for an extremely smart, beautiful and loving Thai Ridgeback, Aria may be right for you.
